Celebrating my 30th birthday in two different countries with my wonderful husband. Breakfast in Paris, tour and lunch in London, followed by a late dinner and evening stroll on the Seine back in Paris that night. He asked "So, what do you think about being 30 today?" I replied, "Oh...wow...I totally forgot." His answer? "Mission accomplished!" It was truly awesome.
It was a fabulous way to spend a milestone birthday, and such a romantic place to be in April.
I don't know how it is that way in September, though. If you don't mind my asking...is it a proposal you're planning, or perhaps a honeymoon?

Sailing on the Sydney Sundancer in the Whitsunday Islands for five days in early Oct. (Sept. would be even better!) It's a 54' boat with few people. There was only one other couple on board, plus the captain and his wife, who were excellent host. Beautiful, beautiful water, unbelievable deserted white sand beaches, dolphins, whales, gourmet food, looking up at The Southern Cross at sunset with a glass of delicious wine, soft music,...so romantic.
