You won't have to LOOK for romantic places in Paris for your honeymoon. The whole experience is romantic.
I went to Paris with my sweetie years ago. One place that I found kind of inexplicably romantic was the Musee D'Orsay. The art is so pretty; the building is so cool; my sweetie was so handsome.

and you're supposed to Kiss either going over or under the bridges that cross the Seine. I'd do it both ways, just to be safe.
Congratulations! My feller and I will be there in October on our honeymoon. Maybe at our ages its more like "mylantamoon" but? What the heck!?

Hi K,
Walk the Seine during the day.
Walk the Seine at night.
See the Arc during the Day.

Have a pastry and cappucino at an outdoor cafe in the morning.
Have a pastry and an espresso at an outdoor cafe at night.
Enjoy your visit.

Stand on the Pont des Arts at midnight drinking champane. Adam Gopnik, whose book Paris to the Moon is one of the best ever, recommends 'the most beautiful walk in the world' leading up to the Pont des Arts. We were in Paris for Christmas a few years ago and found a couple with a bottle of champagne on the bridge - very jealous that we hadnt though of it ourselves!

We went to Paris the first week in October, and the weather was very nice. Cool enough to wear a light jacket, but not rainy or cold. I would suspect that early September would be like late summer/ early fall in New England.
