Where is it in the Monterey/Carmel area that the bagpipers come over the hill at sunset? Is it at a specific beach or hotel? Have heard it is quite a nice experience.

Never seen it, but I believe it's at the Inn at Spanish Bay, which is on the 17 Mile Drive.

the bagpiper walks down the fairway of the 1st and 2d hole about 30 minutes before sunset, and then stands by the outdoor patio bar and plays for a while. quite a sight. you can experience this by parking at asilomar beach and walking onto the course. or you could merely stand on the beach boardwalk and listen to the bagpipes.

My daughter is planning a wedding on the 1st Fairway Patio of the Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach. She would like to get married at sunset. Has anyone ever attended a wedding there? Do you have any comments that you can share with us about it? Thanks!
