Monterey

Staying in/near Monterey for two nights in April. Would love to go to the aquarium. Trying to figure out where to stay as a family of six. Ideas?

Can pay up to $400 a night due to needed two rooms.

If all you need is beds and a bathroom down the hall, there is a HI Hostel at 778 Hawthorne St. My DW and I have stayed there. They have a great kitchen and library.

Due to the various taxes and fees you'd really be at around $180-ish or a little less per double room. I'd be looking at Embassy Suites, the Mariposa Inn & Suites, or that sort of property where you can all stay in the same unit

We were looking at the Embassy suites but we were trying to figure out what is in walking distance. Our four children are ages 3-9.
