What kind of pizza? A classic New York slice? Authentic Italian thin crust in a wood burning oven? In addition to those marked on the map, try Cacio e Vino on Second Avenue near 5th, Motorino on 11th Street near First, Stromboli at First and St Marks.

About a 15 minute walk away is Emporio at 231 Mott Street. We had a family thanksgiving dinner there (they offer lots more than just excellent pizza) and everyone in the group, even the persnickety ones, raved. The burrata was especially good
