Miami/South Beach for Bachelorette Party?
A small group of late-20s to mid-30s girls from New Orleans are thinking about going to South Beach in late March for a bachelorette party. We are looking for a safe, reasonably priced hotel in a convenient area. Any suggestions on places to stay, or must-see things to do?? We would arrange our flight from New Orleans as departing as early as possible Friday morning, and returning as late as possible Sunday night. Thanks very much in advance.

There are lots of good places. I'll let others recommend specific hotels, but I recommend you stay somewhere between 5th and 10th on or near Collins Ave. That will put you in the heart of the action (assuming that's where you want to be). It's a great choice for a bachelorette party.

What is your price range for hotels? Hotel rooms in South Beach that sleep four people are expensive. Hotel rooms are small.
Start with these hotels, all reasonable, on the beach, within walking distance to everything.
The Palms
The South Seas
The Doubletree Surfcomber
Not on the beach but great is the Courtyard by Marriott. Great location and cool rooftop pool.
