We're flying into Miami from the UK to explore Florida (and on our way back we will spend four nights in South Beach).
We have one night before we collect our hired car - suggestions as to where we spend it - we like eating in interesting restaurants and just generally walking through different areas.

Why not spend it in South Beach to begin with. This way you will have small taste of what is in store for the final 4 days of your visit. This way you can already be somewhat familiar with South Beach.

Thanks Bill - we are hoping to spend the time in South Beach - in fact we have booked a hotel there for that time - I was just hoping that someone would suggest somewhere else that we should go.

What gives, Helen, Margaret, Susan, Penny, etc. You've started at leat 6-7 threads all about coming to Miami from the UK. Why not ask all questions in one thread? And what's with the different names? And how about that obsession with tiny & tinyworld? Did you really think us dumb Americans wouldn't figure this out???
