Miami, South Beach
SOS! Looking to book accommodations for March Break for myself and my 16 year old daughter in the Miami area. Flying into Ft Lauderdale and driving down. We love beaches, chill, cute, quaint places...Best Area to stay?? South Beach? Looking any recommendations for boutique hotel (pref nearby beach) for about 250/night. THANKS!

The target area for South Beach is Ocean Drive and Collins Boulevard. .. try a room search and you might grab something in a deco hotel... we like the Surfcomber Miami Beach on Collins... sometimes the extra money is well worth it.... just beware of the high parking and resort fees...

If staying in South Beach (a good idea, am thinking), be leery of the absolute cheapest options. There are a couple real dumpy places here, though most are fine. Just do a little homework before booking.

It's an expensive time to go, but for $250/night you should be able to reserve a decent hotel in South Beach, as long as you don't expect it to be oceanfront. I'd recommend doing a search, narrowing your hotel choices down to a few and come back with questions about them.
