Maui Romantic Dinner Suggestions

Hi,
We are going to Maui in May and would like some ideas for a nice romantic dinner spot. We are not stuffy people, thinking of something with either an open feel or deck very close to the beach. Steak, seafood etc with intimate atmosphere, dark yet comfortable.. any suggestions? Thanks

Sarento's on the Beach! Best meal I ever had.

Once again I vote for Mama's Fish House or Humuhumu's in the Grand Wailea Resort

Can't go wrong with Mama's Fish house. Wonderful food and service. Sarento's is also tasty, but too many pretty people.

It sounds like Pacific O or Kimo's would be perfect for you. Neither are stuffy, you can request a table overlooking the ocean. Kimo's has great steaks and fish, Pacific O is more of Pacific Rim type menu. We enjoyed both of them. Also I'O looked very romantic, but a little more formal. Enjoy your trip. We were there the first part of February and absolutely loved Maui.

Sarrentos or Ferraros at 4S Hotel. Both are very romantic and on the beach. Was just in Maui for our 30th and went to both.

Sarrento's is very romantic. You might want to make sure that you make an early reservation and ask for a table near the water. We waited until that day and got a reservation, but in the back of the restaurant. It still had a good view because it is a small restaurant.

I also thought that the Feast at Lele is romantic. You have your own private table for two and it is right on the beach.

IO is great, seated outside you can sea the water, and the dancers as they come by for the Feast at Lele, since it's right there.

My dinner there was the best I had, hands down better than the overrated Mama's.
