Maui Picnics

Would love recommendations for where to get a nice picnic lunch for my husband and I? Also, recommendations on lovely places for a nice picnic. We're going to Maui next month.

I would think the Safeway Deli would have anything you would need. As for where, we took a nice lunch when we took the road to Hana and ate at the Hana harbor. There are tables and it was very uncrowded. The Kamole Beach parks have some nice picnic areas as well.

CJ's Deli on the Kaanapali Golf Course is supposed to have great picnic lunches. We cant wait to try them for breakfast and lunch when we stay at the Westin Apirl 1st.

Picnics in Paia is no longer in business. The Cake Walk Bakery on the corner of Hana Hiway and Baldwin does picnic lunches. Haven't tried the lunches, but the baked goods are fabulous.

We bought our picnic lunch in Dec from Picnics. I think the confusion about their no longer being in business is that the restaurant is now called Cafe Mambo and Picnics is, well, a sandwich counter within the restaurant. We very much enjoyed our lunches. The shrimp curry sandwich was excellent.
