Maui/Kauai Restaurants
My wife and I (we're late 20s-early 30s) are going to Hawaii next month. Staying at the Hyatt Regency in Kauai and Four Seasons in Maui. Any recommendations on good restaurants on the islands. By the way, we don't eat seafood. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maui: Seawatch (Wailea) - suggested to us by the concierge at the Four Seasons; Kapalua Bay Club - the most beautiful place to have dinner; Sea House (Napili) - great for breakfast; Hula Grill in Kaanapali for something fun and casual.

The largest
pancakes we have eaten in Hawaii have been at Charleys ((&)), and suggest that you don't forget to ask for the coconut syrup.

For a casual meal, Brick Oven Pizza in Kauai is great! We went there twice. Mulligan's in the Wailea area of Maui is fun - especially if you go to Wailea Nights to hear the fantastic music! We went to Nick's and Sarento's and found the meal and ambience at Mulligan's to be superior. (Just an opinion.)

We had a fabulous meal at Casa di Amici in Poipu this last July. Great risotto, pasta and braised meat dishes. YUM.
Tidepools at the Hyatt is pretty good too.
If you are into noodles, fabulous fried wontons, scintillating skewers of beef and chicken and luscious lilikoi chiffon pie try Hamura's Saimin in Lihue. It's a great place to zip by for dinner on your way back from hanging out on the north shore. Not much to look at, but my, my the food!
