Marriott time-share offer - any input?

Hi,
I have been trying to get an offer from Marriott to stay at Waiohai in Kauai -March 04. They said it is by random invite or referral by another time share owner.
Has anyone been able to get an offer any other way?

I got the deal for Waiohai just by calling the vacation club number from their website. This was last December for a stay this past May. I was not invited. I just called up and heard about a promotion for the resort.

I just received an offer in the mail for 5 nights at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua with Hertz rental car and $50 Ritz gift certificate for $799. Attendance at a sales presentation for the Marriott Maui Ocean Club is required. It says offer is only available to the person whose name appears on the invite, but perhaps they will send you an invite if you call.
