Marriott Ocean Pointe: Singer Island, Fla

Hi! Has anyone here stayed @ Marriott Ocean Pointe (or maybe you are a timeshare owner there!) on Singer Island, Florida? Looking for comments on quality of the resort (5 star?) location, beach, pool, shopping & golf. It looks spectacular in the pictures but wld. really appreciate comments from people who have stayed there. Wld. you go back?
Thanks!
Michelle

I love it. Am going back for my 3rd visit there in just a couple of weeks. Nice pool, quiet stretch of great beach, and very nice property and part of town.

There have been other posts done on Singer Island, Palm Beach Shores, and Marriott's Ocean Pointe. If you did a search here at this site, I am sure you will find plenty of information.

Happy Trails,
Paul

Paul, we are trying to book there for February. We want Oceanfront (not ocean view). Have you stayed in Southeast units? East units? What do you recommend for the greatest view of the ocean? Which bilding?
Thanks! Michelle

We are owners at this resort. Any unit designated "oceanfront" is at the east end of the building facing the water. There are a limited number of these units and most are 3 bedrooms units.

The buildings are "V" shaped so that every unit has at least a partial oceanview. The last time we were there, 2yrs ago, the other 2 buildings weren't completed. I don't think that the views on the 2 newer buildings are any different.

We have only stayed in the northern most building and any unit on the north side has a nice view up the coast, water and beach. Get something on at least the 3 floor.

We're going over Christmas this year and are looking forward to all the new additions.

We just returned from there and everything Bob said is true except all three buildings are completed. This was a fun time and everything you want to do is at your disposal. I kind of agree with Bob about getting the unit and ocean view up in front of the buildings. We were on the 6th floor and the view was great. We stayed in the middle building, forgot the name. All units have balconies and the rooms are huge and nicely decorated.
