Has anyone stayed at the Marco Island Marriott lately? How are grounds? How are the rooms? Any info please. Thanks

The Marriott has gotten some really bad press here lately. Do a "search" and find that thread. Or I'll try to find it and ttt for you.

I stayed at the Hilton about a month ago and walked past the MArriott several times. I did not go in the hotel, but from the outside, the resort looks very dated and run down. I had actually called the hotel to check on rooms when I was planning my trip, and was told that one block of suites on the beach was being torn down rather than renovated.
