Looking for great restaurant in Falmouth area

Hi there,

I'm looking for a nice restaurant in Falmouth to send my parents to for a special occassion. Any type of food is okay (Italian is ALWAYS okay!). As far as price goes, something around $100 for two would be good. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you are talking about Falmouth on Cape Cod try the Flying Bridge. Oceanfront, very nice, great food, tables along the water, and will fit your price range.

Jill: Here are a few in Falmouth and nearby towns that I highly recommend:
Nimrod, Dome, Coonamessett Inn, Landfall, The Flume, and Me's suggestion "Flying Bridge".

Thanks for your suggestions! (Yes, Falmouth, MA - sorry! Should've been more clear). I was wondering about the Nimrod... it looks good but I've never been. And an inn in the area suggested the Roo Bar - can anyone tell me about that place? Thanks again! : )

Roo bar has a nice atmosphere, but I didn't think the food was so hot.

THe pie in the sky bakery in woods hole is excellent.

I might suggest the Golden Swan on Main St. It's a small old Falmouth place for formal dining where you can also walk afterwords along Main St. with o lot of other shops and bar to have desert or a night cap.
The Roo Bar is very noisy and a little pricey and it's more of a bar scene than dining.
Good Luck

Big Nooooo to Coonamesset? Inn. Really! The next day I had one of the best fisherman's platters at Flying Bridge. Great view!

Flying Fish. My daughter celebrated my birthday there.
