lodging recommendations for Martha's Vineyard?

My hubby and I are looking for a nice hotel,B&B or Inn on the Vineyard for a romantic week. We would like to stay within the $300-400 per night range. Any great recommendations? I hear Edgartown is the best town to stay in. Any advice appreciated!

Edgartown is quaint, preppy and stuffy. Kelley House is nice, Harborview is posh. I prefer Oak Bluffs but I'm middle class and a democrat.

Thanks for the recommendations! I was hoping for something a little quieter than Oaks Bluff. It's been a long time but the last time I was there, I remember it being a madhouse during the day.
I'm having some trouble with availability with the Edgartown hotels.
How is Vineyard Haven to stay? Are there any romantic hotels in a quieter area that anyone can recommend where it's not too far from a town?
