let me get this straight

When i arrive at the airport i check my bag with the carrier. when i go through security i will have my liquids, gels, shaving cream in a 1 qt plastic see-thru bag in my carry on bag(s).In another clear plastic bag in my carry on luggage i will have my medications, incl. non prescription stuff. The two bags will be xrayed and then returned to my carry on bag(s)?

One of my carry on bags will be just cameras 8X10 " and light. The second carry on will have my liquids and prescription drugs. After security check the liquids and drugs will be returned to the carry on bag? Have i got this right. I looked on the TSA website and they don't tell you how many carry on bags are allowed. Lufthansa web site doesn't tell you either. How long would it take to land if i jumped off a ten story building?

Assuming 15 feet per story, approximately 2 seconds.

Seatguru is great !

It says you can carry a Carry on bag and a personal bag.

No! no! don't jump!! You will not like the landing.

Where are you coming from? I just came from Paris, where the airport declared that we were only allowed ONE carry on, so all the women were scrambling to stuff their purses into their carry ons. At every stop, everyone dictated that we could only have ONE carry on. well, once I boarded the plane, the flight attendant made announcements as if assuming everyone had two carry ons! Everyone on the plane sneered, since we knew what we just went through.

I'm now home. TSA Paris to Chicago did not search my luggage. TSA Chicago to Honolulu did search my luggage, broke one of my bags, and broke a couple of items in the suitcase. Talk about wanting to jump out of a building! Do you think TSA agents do this on purpose because they have miserable lives?

Also make sure that the containers indicate 3 oz or less. I tried to take a saline solution bottle for my contact lens that was marked as 4 oz, but was only half full (therefore about 2 oz). I was not allowed to carry it in - I needed to put it in my checked baggage. Good luck (and don't jump, it's not worth it!)

Do you plan to use a paraglider for your jump or just wing it? That will make a huge difference as to how long the landing will take. I always use a paraglider, but to each his/her own.
