Leaving for Oahu/Maui in two days!!!!

We are being picked up by Rapid Rover at 5:00 am Thursday for our 8:00 am flight out of Philly. I'am sooo excited. We are staying on Oahu for two days and Maui for seven! It's our 25th wedding anniversary trip. We have been to Kauai before but not Oahu or Maui. Any last minute advice, dos or dont's or suggestions? Thanks!

While in Maui, try to go to a luau. Old Lahaina luau was wonderful. I'd highly recommend it.
Best wishes on your 25th!

In Maui, go see Warren and Annabelle. It is a magic/comedy show and you will be astounded at what you think you see.
My wife and I were personally disappointed with the Old Lahaina Luau. The show was good, but the food was poor and the service below par.

We were just in Oahu in September...We landed at 11:30am and went straight to Pearl Harbour...It was a great time to go ...no lineups, crowds or bus tours..Spent a lovely afternoon there.

Don't overpack. You don't need tons of clothes for Hawaii. Just casual stuff for warm weather. One good pair of sneakers or sturdy shoes. Take more than one bathing suit if you have it.

Where are you staying?

Get rid of about half the clothes and shoes you are bringing. Leave empty space for shopping. Blue Ginger is a clothing line exclusive to Hawaii that is perfect Hawaiian casual wear. Pretty colorful tropical dresses and outfits. Have stores all over. Take 2 swimsuits.

If you want to try Mama's Fish House, it's quite easy to get to from the airport when you arrive in Maui. You can have a great lunch there and enjoy the place without the dinnertime masses.

I second the suggestion for Warren and Annabelle's. We've been twice and have enjoyed both. Be sure to check if Warren is doing the magic as I heard he is out of town but don't remember when. Have a great trip and congrats on 25. We also spent our 25th on Maui and going again in Feb.

While in Maui do the Old Lahania Luau. Book a reservation early in your trip or before you leave. Best luau in Hawaiian Islands. If you like seafood, do Mama's Fish House. I would also do the sunrise on Halekela and road to Hana. Happy 25th!!

Thank you to all of you well wishers out there!!
On Oahu we are staying at the Park Shore Waikiki. I know its not the best hotel but the oceanfront view is supposed to be fabulous for the money. It is only for two nights. We want to do Pearl Harbor and Diamondhead.
On Maui we are staying in a condo in Wailea at Ekahi Village. We have Feast at Leles booked already. We are doing the drive to Hana also. Other than that we will take it as it comes and decide on other activities when we get down there. We will keep all of your suggestions in mind. Thanks
