LaGuardia Airport

Hello, Fodorites.
My cousin and I are meeting at LaGuardia. I'll be flying in on Continental and she will be taking United Airlines. Is it possible for us to meet in baggage claim? I looked up a map of LaGuardia and couldn't really tell how far a walk the baggage claim areas are from each other. Thanks!

You need to check on which terminal each airline uses. Baggage claims aren't far apart within a terminal, but there are several terminals (none too far apart but it would be an outside walk).

There is a shuttle that will take you from one terminal to another. I wouldn't walk since there are no sidewalks in many places from one terminal to another - only roads.

You can check the website to see which terminal your flights should arrive at. But plan on calling each other when you get there - since things sometimes change.

Both CO and UA uses the Central Terminal. CO uses Concourse A, while UA uses Concourse C. The baggage claim areas are about 200 yards apart.

That is assuming your cousin are actually flying a UA plane, not a USAirways codeshare.
