Kid friendly hotel near Walfdorf Astoria
We're attending a 3-day meeting at the Waldorf in a couple of weeks. The conference rate for the hotel is sold out. The alternate conference hotel is the W New York, but I have read so many bad things about that hotel on these message boards it has made me look for another option. Our 4 year old son will be going with us. So, we need a full service kid-friendly hotel that has rooms large enough to accommodate a roll away bed in addition to a king for us. I'm considering the Marriott Eastside, but note that there seem to be a lot of other hotels within a few blocks. Advice on the Marriott and other hotels within 2-4 blocks of the Waldorf would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Just stayed last week down the street at the Benjamin. We had a one bedroom suite with fridge, kitchen and living room. Also the Kimberly right next store looked nice as well, we had their breakfast buffet and it was very good.

Just around the corner is the Benjamin. Fabulous suite hotel. We spent a week there recently. The suite had a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, nice T.V, and beautiful furnishings. The living room had a pull-out sofa, a television in an armoire, a desk and a kitchenette. Just perfect for a family and oh so nice. Check their site for specials.
