Key West Boat Excursion

We are staying in Marco Island in July, and we want to know if there are any same day boat shuttles from Marco/Naples area to Key West? Thanks, Joe

From what I understand there is a fast boat that goes from either Naples or Fort Myers to Key West. I've seen it in my searching for Key West. It's a hydroplane or something like that. If I find the info, I'll let you know. I'm leaving for Key West tomorrow and will return next week. Will pick up any info I can on the subject.

Here's the link to the site for the boat excursion from Fort Myers Beach to Key West. It gives you about 5 hours in Key West, but you might be able to get a r/t ticket and stay overnight, then return the next day... call and find out.

I was in Marco Island last year and saw advertising for the day trip to KW. North East corner of the island was the departure point.

There are three
Fast Cats www.fastcats.org/home/htm
Key West Ferry www.keywestferry.com
Key West Express but I can't find their website.
Fast Cats runs from downtown Ft. Myers to Key West. I "think" the Ferry & the Express run from Ft. Myers Beach.
Yes, you can stay over night, or go return the same day. Our "Key West" daughter has done that to come home for holidays.
If the weather is bad, they don't run. And I don't know if they run daily during the summer...due to lack of customers.
