Kentucky Derby in Vegas.
My wife and I are going to be in Vegas during the Kentucky Derby; the last time we were in Vegas at that time, we set ourselves up at the bar in Paris that overlooks the sports book, we placed our wagers and waited, hoping to sip a few and enjoy the race. By the time the race started it was so crowded we didn’t know half of what was going on with the race and we hadn’t had service for a while (only one server was on). So the question is, where can we set ourselves up this time to have a better race experience?

Caesar's. Get there early and grab a seat in their immense sports and race book. The crowd will sing along with "My Old Kentucky Home" and the cheering during the race makes you feel like you're at Churchill Downs!

Hello
I was at Ceasar's during the Derby several years ago and the Derby was treated like any other bet. No big deal, I certainly messed the derby feeling. Do not expect the Ol Kentucky Home feeling.

Yes, it is treated just like any other bet at the windows, and it is just one of many horse races going off that day... The year ('03) I was at Caesar's, they were giving out official Derby T-shirts with each Derby wager. Plus, as I mentioned, there was a huge crowd at the sports book, and everyone sang and cheered.
