Kennebunkport

Hello - We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary the end of the month. We would like to have dinner at The White Barn Inn, but cannot afford to stay there. Any recommendations for area b&b's? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Paula

Paula, my in-laws go to Kennebunkport every summer to escape the Auguest heat of Phoenix and they stay at The Old Fort Inn (I always chuckle at the name because it almost sounds like the old fart inn). You might want to check them out.

Check out "The Colony". Not sure of price but I don't believe it's anywhere near the White Bar Inn. You are able to walk to town from The Colony.

Paula,
Look up "The Maine Stay Inn". We stayed there in early June and it was very nice and quite reasonable. It is within walking distance of almost everything too. They have a website if you want to see what it looks like.
Have Fun!

Thank you KK, Gretchen and Fiona - all excellent recommendations. I found a site that lists all of the inns in the area and it linked to each website which was great. So many to choose from in Kennebunkport.

KK, yup, now I think of Old Fort Inn as old fart inn after you said that! Too funny. They ended up being our top choice, but didn't have the rooms we were interested in available. We picked the Captain's Hideaway Inn and hope it works out.

We hope that dinner at the White Barn lives up to it's pricing and reputation!

Thanks again, Paula

My husband and I stayed at the Maine Stay Inn as well. We found it very comfortable and liked the location. The dinner at the White Barn Inn was magnificent!

Hi, hope your anniversary was nice. Did you end up having dinner at the White Barn Inn and if so, did you enjoy it. We want to celebrate our 15th anniversary dinner there. We are staying at the Old Fort Inn.

thanks
