Kauai in late June?

My family is considering going to Kauai for a week in late June, is the weather unbearably hot at that time?

It can be for some. If you like to jump in the ocean it will be perfect!

It's never unbearably hot in Kauai. You'll love it.

Hello marli,
Here is a link to seasonal temperature and rainfall averages for Kauai:

Aloha, marli! We travel to Kauai every year in the mid-winter, but this past June/July, we were there for a big wedding anniversary - I can tell you that the weather is GLORIOUS at that time of year, temps never much above mid-80's, lows around 70, and much less rainfall than when we're there in Jan./Feb. By all means, go and enjoy!

Lovejoy, your answer to this question was perfect, and so much in contrast to the many long drawn out inaccurate answers on this forum that have nothing to do with the question being asked.

Rusty, I wonder if it occurs to you that YOUR response on this particular thread really has nothing to do with marli's question? It seems like you just used it as a springboard to air your own general pet peeve...???

Alooohaaa,
The only real difference I hear from my local friends is they golf longer and use a higher SPF sunscreen.

Wouldn't hurt to see if your lodging has A/C. Rather have it and not need it...
Margot, What do you feed a pet peeve?

Mahalo,

Kal - the answer to what you feed a pet peeve is "Purina Peeve Chow", of course! Or...maybe just some baloney!
(Shall we do knock knock jokes next?!)
