Kal in Kauai

Has anyone heard from Kal? Where is my Kauai trip report?

Right now I'm booked for 6 nights at the Grand Wailea on Maui and 6 nights at the Hyatt on Kauai in June. Although I think the Hyatt is more my style, I can't stand the thought of not waking up a morning or two on the lush north shore. What about me shaving a day off of both of the above resorts so that I can spend two nights at the Princeville? Of course that would shorten my stay on Maui and lengthen my stay on Kauai. Any advice?

Well, I am seriously jealous! I know Kal would not hesitate to recommend that I tack the extra Kauai day onto my vacation if he loves this island enough to stay there for so long.

I just heard from Kal, he called from Kauai to say he's drenched! (We're having a little winter storm here the past 2 days.) But he's having a good time and said to tell you all hi.

OK since Kal is not here to defend himself I can say what I want, can't I? hee hee. He was swearing like a sailor and hasn't had a sober day since he landed on Kauai.

I would defintitely do the extra tine ine Kauai - especially the Hyatt. Spent our honeymoon there! I am so jealous. Have a drink on the Seaview Teerrace (or several). The breakfast buffet is pretty good. ( are you getting that free?) The views are spectacular! The pool is wonderul! Not a complaint!( The only thing that would make it more perfect is if it was on the north shore!)
HAve fun!

Salgal-
I'm so glad to hear your favorable comments about the Hyatt! Especially since I could not arrange a stay at the Princeville. The laid-back tropical feel of this resort should appeal to my family and we can take day trips up north...I'm with you, though. - It would have been nice if they had been thoughtful enough to put the Hyatt up there (Ha!) but I know there are many people who speak highly of the Poipu area too.
Breakfast is included in our stay. Were there some restaurants around there you particularly enjoyed for other meals?
