Any clue as to who you are (family, senior couple?)

Or your interests?

Some suggestions would be Saratoga, NY area, maybe contiuing through Vermont, into NH. A few different routes can be chosen. Very scenic

Hi Joanel,

Maybe you would enjoy Portland, Maine. It is a quaint city with a nice vibe, nice shopping, good food, beautiful waterfront area. And it's not far other areas along the coast where you would be able to enjoy nature a little more?

Enjoy your trip,

Layla

Well with theater, museums and history it sounds to me like Boston should be part of it - unless you've alredy spent too much time there.

Don't know about birds - I would have thought some would have gone south already. And since the trees will be bare, nature may be somewhat dreary - unless you spend some time on the coast. (I love beach resorts in off season - chance to see seals and whales etc - as long as you're sure enough places are still open.

Well - it might have been a good idea to mention that up front.

You didn;t mention PA - but Philly also has theater, several good museums and a lot of history - since you've eliminated New York. Also - Gettysburgh isn;t that far away.

And I'm sure locals can give you info on good places for birding, state parks for walking etc.

Joanel,
Have you thought about the Berkshires? There are some nice museums (the Norman Rockwell museum being the most popular), theater, good restaurants, and many nice B&Bs. Hope you enjoy yourselves!
