Iberville Suites

Is the living room at the Iberville Suites big enough for 4 adults to sit and hang out in? Also, is the bath in the bedroom? Does Iberville Street at the hotel get deserted late at night? Wondering how safe to walk back to the hotel is.

The suites are small. Four adults can sit in the parlor but barely. The bath is between the bedroom and parlor, or at least it was in my suite. I don't know how many floor plans they have.

I didn't really like the location of the hotel at night but it wasn't unsafe. Iberville Street just is not very pleasant despite the Ritz Carlton being on it.

I stayed at the Iberville Suites in April and thought it was a great value for $139 a night, which included an incredible free all you can eat daily breakfast. I did not have a problem walking back to the hotel late at night and always felt safe.

The sofa in the suite is more like a queen loveseat...it might be a bit cramped but if you are only there to sleep really, it will not be a problem. The bath is between the bedroom and the suite...plus you can close the bedroom door and the people staying in the suite can have access to the bath without disturbing you.

I have stayed at the Iberville Suites on several occasions and it is a great hotel as Rick stated above and is a great value. It is comfortable enough for four people and besides it's not worth giving up on a great location, beautiful hotel with a great staff, that scrumptious full breakfast buffet, and a safe location for a few square feet of additional room in the parlor room. Check my previous posts about this hotel by doing a search. The only thing lacking is a swimming pool, which was not possible because of the original construction of the building. You do have access to the Ritz Carlton amenities and services which is in the same building. You can avoid Bourbon street if that's not a interest to you. There's so much to do, see and enjoy in New Orleans and the Iberville Suites will make your stay very enjoyable!!!!
