Iberville Suites

Does anyone know anything about the Iberville Suites? Would you recommend it as a place to stay during a three-day trip to NO this Christmas?

Thanks,
Jeff

I stayed at the Iberville Suites for a long weekend back in April. I found it to be a terrific deal at $139 a night. The rooms were very nice and included a suite area with a small loveseat and chair. The Iberville adjoins the Ritz-Carlton and you can use the spa at the Ritz as well.

The location was right on the edge of the French Quarter and was quiet and safe. I thought it was very convenient.

Also, it included a fairly nice breakfast every morning.

Iberville was great! The staff always cracked me up becuase it is "their pleasure" to do anything for you!

The bathrooms were nice and they kept them well stocked with wonderful bed and bath soaps etc.

Check turbo trip for great rates. Be sure to scroll through because they sometimes have the same hotel listed twice with different deals!

I would recommend Iberville- great location- near the ritz- the breakfast was great- and they looked the other way if you took it your room.
Big comfortable bed- great decor! loved it- I don't know how you can go wrong!

Isn't it quite a walk from the French Quarter and Jackson Square, etc.? On the map it looks a long way. Can anyone help. What is a good hotel to stay at that would be close to Jackson Square and the Riverwalk?

Iberville Suite is IN the French Quarter. It's just a few blocks (10 minute walk, max) to Jackson Square.

The French Quarter is not a very big area. 13 blocks by 7 blocks, and the blocks aren't huge.
