Hotels near South Coast Plaza

We're in San Diego. The LA Times had an article about hotels in Costa Mesa with discounts. We want to go to South Coast Plaza and Room and Board furniture and stay overnight.

Here are the hotels they offer:..Ayres, Costa Mesa Marriot, Holiday Inn Costa Mesa, Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites, Residence Inn, Ramada Limited and Suites, Westin South Coast Placa and Wyndham Hotel Orange County.

So... can you help me?..which are closest ....or any help in selection. They are all different prices with the Westin the most expensive..

Thanks..I will go on trip advisor after I get your suggestions. We want to be close..as we are of a certain age and it would be nice to have a place where we can walk to dinner or the center..if that is possible...

Of these, I've only stayed at the Westin. It's a very nice 4 star hotel, very close to South Coast Plaza. I would bet it is the one closest to South Coast.

I've stayed at the Westin too. You can walk from there, there's a pedestrian bridge.

The Wyndham Orange County is also nearby. I stayed there when I went to visit family. It was very nice and elegant!

I'd pick the Westin. A very nice hotel.
