Newton has primarily rooms with one bed, Hilton and other more upscale chains have a lot more rooms with 2 beds - but will therefore charge much more for them. (Do make sure you are looking at prices for rooms with 2 double beds.)

I persuaded my bf that The Newton was in a better location than Holiday Inn at 57th St, slightly hard decision because they had a pool and were slightly cheaper but no refrigerator so thankfully that and being in a more family friendly area swayed him

We really liked The Newton, the fridge especially was a bonus considering how warm it was for us (even when it rained!) Only downside was the amount of time we spent on the metro, guess next time we'll have to raise the budget

I know its been a very long time but apologies first and foremost for not trip reporting on this trip, we spent the labor weekend in Washington with a close friend who sadly passed away not long after we returned so I never completed unfortunately, I got the first day completed when I got the news and regretted no blogging as the trip went along since
