Has anyone had experiences with these hotels and which would be better? This would be for 3 two night stays in March. Both rates are the same through a consolidator. Proximity to the beach and room decor are most important. Thanks so much for any imput.

This is relatively easy. The Clinton is a chic newly-renovated hotel, but it's two blocks in from the ocean, on busy commercial Washington. The Ocean is on Ocean Drive across the street from the beach, and I've heard good things about it. Full disclosure: I haven't stayed there. But on location alone, the Ocean comes out on top.

If you want oceanfront, you will need to stay above 15th on Collins.
