Hot Spot Butter in NYC

Anyone been to the club Butter in NYC? What is the atmosphere and cover charge?

I haven't been, but Page Six tells me that it's where Lohan and Paris Hilton hang out.

I'm thinking the atmosphere is "scene-ish" considering all the young hollywood types hang out there. Cover charge- prob. expensive.

I haven't been either--but I think it's a restaurant. Not sure when the nightclub thing kicks in.

I think one floor is a restaurant and the basement or other floor is the club. Paris Hilton (gag reflex) was on Letterman this week and she talked about going there after the show. Anywhere she would go, I would probably want to avoid! She's so vapid!

Tres expensive restaurant until 11pm when it morphs into a club until 4am. Doubt anyone trendy is there before midnight - and never on Friday and Saturday.

For dinners entrees are in the $30 to $35 range - with other items accordingly - so $200 plus for dinner with a drink.

You'll need to call for entry charge to club - and not sure who they'll take when. Although someone is offering tables for $550 for the evening.

Well I haven't been there, and I wouldn't want to pay $550 for a table at a club, but I have to ask: if Lohan and Hilton are hanging there, how hot can it really be?

Butter was hot a while back. Now its publicists pay celebrities to make quick cameos so it gets its name in Page Six.

Mediocre, overpriced food.

For a hot club, look no further than Spa.
