Honeymoon Upgrades

Going to Florida on our Honeymoon, What are the chances of getting some honeymooners upgrades, The trip was booked with a travel agent at home, so don't know if they mention when booking on our behalf that we'll be on honeymoon, Is it worth mentioning at hotel check ins just to see if we'll get a room upgrade, I'd even be willing to pay if they offer me a good deal for a better room, We'll be in Key West (6 nights) Ft. Ld. (5 nights) and Orlando (4 nights) - Any handy hints to improve our trip much appreciated
Cheers

Try phoning the Hotel a few days before you arrive(tell them you just want to check the reservations as you want your honeymoon to be perfect)and they should upgrade you ,if they dont mention an upgrade at check in gently remind them.
enjoy your married life!

Your travel agent should take care of that, but double check to make sure and call the hotel. You might want to set up some champagne on your arrival, a good reason to call the hotel and make sure you are being well taken care of.

Have a great time.

I doubt you would get an upgrade anywhere especially in Key West. (it seems like the only ones that do this still are in Vegas) but you might get a complimentary bottle of wine or a little basket of something. Hotels see the honeymoon thing as a bit of a scam so they don't do as much as maybe they once did. Double check with the travel agent because I would bet it was already mentioned.

It might also depend on the time of year. Orlando and Key West are usually pretty busy so they might be the toughest. I think it would also have to do with the hotel itself.
