Help with hotel or B&B in Brooklyn

I'm trying to find a nice place to stay for one night this fall/winter in Brooklyn. I'm not going for site-seeing -- just need to be in the area so thought it would be more convenient to spend the night rather than drive up & back in one day from Delaware.

On Trip Advisor I don't see a lot of good options -- and the places that look do-able have two or three night minimums.

Any recommendations or would I be better off looking in Manhattan, maybe LES?

Hi Leslie_S. Brooklyn is a pretty big place; do you know the neighborhood you'd like to stay in? In some cases, you could be better off staying in a hotel in Manhattan, depending on where you're located. A few good choices in Brooklyn include the NY Marriott hotel at the Brooklyn Bridge and the Nu Hotel in Carroll Gardens on Smith St.

Brooklyn just doesn't have many hotels. The two named aren;t bad. there are some B&Bs - but if they make sense depends on what part of the city you need to do things in.

Sorry, it is a large area. I guess what I'm looking at is considered south Williamsburg - close to the Williamsburg bridge.
Both of those mentioned look good. Thanks!

Sure thing! There's also the La Jolie hotel which is right next to the Williamsburg bridge, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it because...it's RIGHT under the BQE! Lots of traffic and freeway ugliness. But worth checking out if being near Wburg is your top priority!
