Help with family hotel in New Orleans

My husband, myself and our 2 kids (7 and 11) are going to NO in November. We would like to stay with easy access to the French Quarter. Maison St. Charles was recommended by a friend but I can also get the Astor Crowne Plaza and the St. Louis hotel for the same price. Any suggestions?

I don't know about the hotels you mentioned, but I can help you with some site your children should enjoy.
*Aquarium
*Riverboat Cruise
*Streetcar

I'm sure there are many other things your children will love, too. We stayed at the Royal St. Charles right on the streetcar line, but the rooms would be too cramped for 2 adults and 2 children.

Have FUN!!!!!!!!!!

l'2,
Stayed at the Astor last Oct.
Nice place and we'd stay there again. You are right on Bourbon St when you go out the side door.
We had a very large room. I'm sure if there are 2 dbl beds, still enough room for 4.

Let the good times roll!
