help!

hi,
i'm new to the traveling world so i'm worried i made a huge mistake. i originally had a reservation at the Sheraton New Orleans but cancelled it in lieu of a cheaper price through Hotwire. i didn't realize that the room I got through hotwire is for 2 people instead of 4! and i'm so stupid b/c its unable to be canceled... any advice for me? i appreciate anything.

You would get some responses if you got a little more specific than "help". Its a big country with lots of travel options.

Book another room. If you don't mind splitting the party, then use Hotwire again - you may get the same hotel again. Or just book another room at the hotel you have now. Sure you're going to pay more than originally, but you'll have two rooms and be more comfortable.

You have three options:
1) get another room for two and use both rooms
2) get another room for four and use only it
3) don't go

Try contacting the hotel directly. they may have other rooms that do accomodate 4 - and might be willing to let youhave one at a premium (paid directly to them) over the Hotwire price.

Alos, please do be more specific in your queries. Everyone here wants help.
