Has anyone used NY Airport Service?

I found them at www.nyairportservice.com/schedule.html

They charge $17 from JFK to Penn Station, near where I'm staying.

They require credit card information. I'm hesitant to give that information online without knowing if it's a reputable company--or if they even exist.

Thanks.

Yes, this is the regular bus service from the airports to various locations in Manhattan. The fare should only be $15 one way though, not $17. Here's a different link with prices.

They are a licensed carrier and a legit company. You don't need to purchase tickets in advance. Ask where the bus stops and wait for the bus to show up

You definitely don't have to buy tickets in advance.

Correct that you don't need to reserve in advance. It's just a convenience for you. I've done it and given my CC info with no problems.
If you buy a RT ticket, you'll get a discount of a few dollars

I used them all the time when I lived in NYC (which was until 10 months ago). I never had a problem with reliability or getting to the airport on time. I also recommend them to anyone who wants something less expensive than a cab.

This is fine if you want to use a shuttle bus. You just have to get yourself and your luggage to one of their pick up sites.

Just a report to let you know that NY Airport Service worked out fine. I was fourth of six stops, but was not in a hurry. Had a nice evening tour around NY before reaching my hotel. Thanks for the advice.
