Bus tickets bought on airplane

In a couple of post people have mentioned that they bought bus or shuttle tickets to the hotel on the plane. Am I reading this right. One post said for 8 euro. Can I do this and if so which airline offers this?

Hi Haman - It sounds like Ryanair to me. I believe they sell Terravision shuttle bus tickets on board ...

Check their website:

www.ryanair.com

Ryanair only sell bus tickets on some of their routes, on others you can get cheap(er) train tickets

Thanks for clarification. Do you know if I can buy train tickets online before I get there. I heard tickets machines do not work a lot of the time

Thanks

For trains from the airport? No need to buy them online - you can get them at the ticket office.

Duh! I should have said in the beginning. Rome coming in the Fumi-----
airport, however you spell it. Saw a thread on it and cannot find it now, but he told how to get from plane out to trains station and sounded very involved.
Thnaks

If it is Fiumcino it is easy to walk to the railway station which is right in the airport. But I think Ryanair probably fly to Ciampino which is not easy by public transport.
