Hamptons (except West) or Sag Harbor Hotels?

Is there anywhere nice to stay in the Hamptons or Sag Harbor? My H and I would like to go over Fourth of July weekend- we know it will be packed, but any suggestions for nice places to stay? A nice pool would be a plus. Thanks!

I doubt very seriously there will be a hotel room available at this late date and if there is , it will cost a fortune.
I know E Hampton and Montauk are booked for the 4th, months in advance, Sag Harbor doesn't have that many places to stay.
Go online and find hotels and just start calling, Good Luck!!

The east end has a relatively small number of hotels - mostly B&Bs - because this is an area that is typically house rentals by the week, month or season.

I would be surprised if there is any room left at this point but you may want to consider

Here are some places to try if you're prepared to stay 3+ nights.

In East Hampton, Maidstone Inn (not sure about pool) and J Harper Poor Cottage (it ain't a cottage & it ain't poor )

The Enclave is a group of 3-4 motel type places that are not bad & have pools. (They have a a website)

The largest choice of places are in Montauk. Gurney's Inn & Montauk Yacht Club are nice. (the rooms at Gurney's are not great)

If you find a place with availability you can post back & I can probably tell you whether it's good.

Try the Sag Harbor Inn

They have a pool too. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Enjoy your holiday.
