I have not stayed there, but I'm a Tucsonan and can tell you it is a LOVELY property. You need a car if you want to get around, because it is tucked away in the foothills. But if you just wanted to hole up for a while it would be perfect. It is said that Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy liked to stay there. Great restaurant, too.

If you want similar abience, look into the Arizona Inn. It has received lots of awards and is on a beautiful 14 acres in town, near the university.

The Arizona Inn is a very nice old hotel on beautiful grounds. However, being rith in the middle of Tucson, there are not any good views.

OK, I'm confused. I just checked the New Mexico "folder," and this thread is located there, but most of you are responding about a property in Tucson.

Debdav, where do you want to go, exactly?
