Bahia del Sol Beachfront Hote in CRl? Anyone stayed there?

I am considering booking this hotel. Has anyone stayed here? Good? Bad? We are a couple in our 30's and we will be in Costa Rica next week! Please provide your feedback. Thanks!

If this is the one in Potrero (and I'm thinking it is), we've not stayed but have looked at the property. It's in a pretty good location and right across from an excellent little bakery and restaurant, El Castillo. It's a decent option. Did you look in Hotel Sugar Beach by chance? Same area, a little more isolated.

Thanks Shillmac. I did check out Hotel Sugar beach. I read the reviews on Fodors and it seemed to be a bit too isolated for us. Are there any other hotels you would recommend?

Nothing comes to mind right in that area. I'm sure new places have sprung up even since we were there in July. There are a couple of other hotels which have been there in Potrero for awhile, but I've forgotten the names. In Flamingo, we've always enjoyed Flamingo Beach Resort for the price and the location. Food isn't great, but we don't use their restaurant unless for a luncheon sandwich by the pool. I'll work on the names of some others.

LunadeMiel, try the above link. The Villagio (sp?) would be a good option, I think, but wouldn't recommend it over Bahia del Sol. I particularly like the location of BdS.
