Grand Canyon Flights

Due to visit Grand Canyon September '03. Will arrive late afternoon and staying the night (already booked) leaving mid-afternoon next day. Would like to consider a flight. Fixed wing or helicopter? Any firm particularly recommended? Any general views (pun!) on Grand Canyon welcome

Airstar.com---helicopter tour..the middle one or longer one not the shortest....like on your living room couch...smooth...bring a camera...can go down into canyon(not land) unlike an airplane...awesome

A lot of Arizonians would advise you not to take any kind of Canyon flight. The safety record is not great.

Plus its an obtrusive, obnoxious way to visit such a serene, spiritual place.

You are in luck. As of October 25th of this year, "Grand Canyon Airlines" started up new service from Scottsdale Airport. To read more go to this website:
