Getting Married in Kauai

Gabriele, If you haven't already searched here, go to "www.gohawaii.com", they have a wedding/honeymoom section where local wedding companies post for you to check out - it will give you a good starting point if you don't hear from others on this site with first-hand advice - be sure to ask for referrals when you talk to anyone over there. A suggestion for a great, romantic place to have dinner: The Beach House in Poipu (if you go to that side of the Island) - the food is outstanding and the location can't be beat - very small and intimate and on the cliff overlooking the water - my hustband proposed to me there! *Be sure to make reservations.*

Another great website is "http://www.kauaiweddings.com" and it focuses on weddings on the island of Kauai. All the beaches are public lands in Hawaii but some counties are charging permits for people to be married on the beach.
I highly recommend Kauai! It is beautiful and you'll love it there.
