We made reservations for the Beach House on Sunday for Tuesday. No problems getting a table for sunset.

Just an FYI, we ate at LaCascata at the Princeville last September. No reservation, just walked in and got a beautiful table by the window. We did get there right when they opened at 6 though.

We went to Kauai in September 2001. We made all our dinner reservations once we arrived. Can't say for sure if it would normally have been so easy butI think Sept is a slower time. Though Sept 2001 was exceptionally slow for obvious reasons. I'd think calling a few eeks in advance would be sufficient and then reconfirm.

At the Beach House we got a table in the bar with a spectacular view so when the hostess came to seat us we asked her if our bar table had a better view than the one in the dining room. She said the bar table was better so we ate there. Our waitress in the bar was enthusiastic, informative and prompt. It was a great/memorable.
