Richard & I visited a country estate for the weekend -- 'twas a wonderful weekend.

It seems strange that a county as yours that celebrates Columbus Day (in spite of the fact he never arrived in what was to become USA), that you would fail to understand simple geography and the theory Columbas sought to prove: The world is round, as as such, we do not all live in the same time zone! Discounting that some of the "Saturday" posts might be coming from the Pacific Islands, shouldn't some of you have started a Saturday or Sunday Rants and Raves thread? My request was no rule, just a small request for a very special reason, as noted by my rant:

"Rant: long winded gossip and people who cannot read a calendar"

" riparian " LOL April

Mrs Bucket, I have a calendar right here and the date is on my computer. And I will post a Friday Rave in your general direction--on Sunday!

Rave:
People who do not always follow the dotted line or stay within the lines, who think for themselves sometimes, who wear black and blue together!! who think of strangers on the Internet as friends, who post about a trip taken last week or last decade, who offer help in whatever way they can, because they are just that kinda person...

Yours truly, Ms Scarlett O

Mrs. Bucket, you can't make up the rules if you didn't make up the game

Patrick, I wish you luck with your mother. These things are so mentally exhausting.

OO how wonderful for you and your family!

bonnie, the Wolfpack didn't take that lying down. They played a good geme.

To the Bucket Woman. Columbus did not discover The Americas, you missinformed English faded glory old wind bag. The American Indians found it followed by the Norsemen about eight hundred years ago. The English stunbled here about four hundred years later when they ran out of beer and were saved form their pompus ways by American Indians.

BTW, I will be posting Rants and Raves on Friday morning AMERICAN time wheather or not you post on your royal English clock seven hours earlier.

AMEN Jor!

I'm only posting on Jor's FFR&R from now forward.

Can't understand why anyone as cranky & miserable as HB would even bother to get involved with this happy & fun tradition on Fodors!

I think some people need to go back to bed and get out the other side.
