YAY, indie, I do know what an accomplishment that was!! Hooray for you!

I can't possibly rant since I live & love in a free country... and I thank God for a gov that will protect that at ALL cost.

Rave:
I live in "ALOHA" spirit every day of my life, even tho I live in the midwest.

I'm giddy to be "home" for the 4th of July to enjoy good "ole" hometown celebration of parades, and fireworks, and concerts, and family!

Happy 4th of July fodorites... love you all!

Rave: My 19-day vacation from work has finally started (yay!) -- although I did volunteer to work Monday, while most of the office takes the day off.

Rave/Rant: The day of our big trip is almost here, so I have to do some major house-cleaning for the next few days.

Rant: I'll be missing all the stories and advice from my Fodors friends while we're gone. Hope I'll have some great things to write about when we get home.

RANT: The #$%&$@& idiots who were setting off fireworks at 4:00 a.m. this morning on the street behind me. We live in the city, and my husband and I practically flew out of bed thinking we were hearing gunshots. The houses are close together, and the fireworks were landing in my yard! My neighbor, a Buffalo cop, said it if happens again tonight he'll take care of it!

RAVE: I'm off from work until Wednesday!

Rave: Got hubby into a shopping mall today the first time in more than 5 years! He actually enjoyed himself buying clothes! =D>Hip Hip Horray! And there were sales!

RAVE: I mentioned on Friday that today would be my 40h anniversary. Well, ladies, my dear hubby gave me a ruby, diamond, and mother-of-pearl heart on a gold chain!!!!!! Ain't love grand???

Rave: Only TWO more times to change the cats' litter boxes before I leave to go on vacation. Yesssss!!!!!

Wooooo! Another one!

Rave: The luggage set I bought yesterday for our trip is on sale today for $15 less. I'll be going to the store shortly to collect the difference. Yay!
