About 9" of snow here in the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley. Just cleared the sidewalk and driveway and the residue has melted already. Town roads are clear and traffic is moving normally on I-81. The mountains look great with the sun shinning on them.

Just got back from a rodeo cutting elimination. The snow is fresh and blinding white and won't be melting until spring. If I still had a snowmobile guess what I would be doing this afternoon? We haven't had this much snow in six years.

Just got off the phone with my mom--she lives in Maryland near the Del / PA line--they've had 13 inches of snow so far! Jorr, sounds as though you got the mother load! Enjoy it for me, please!!!!!

The East got socked and we are on bare ground near Chicago. It's fine for all my driving, but our snowmobile people are all heading North.

swalter, congratulations on little baby Samantha!!!! How wonderful!

PM, sorry to hear about your fall! When you go to the ice bar, be careful not to slip and fall!

Scarlett, keeping good thoughts for your daughter! When I had a MRI of my head taken, my husband said they would find nothing in there too -- he was right, lol Keep good thoughts.

Bonnie -- BIG HUGS to you! I was so sad when my son moved just 50 minutes away, lol.

Monday RAVE: We had our weekend get-away! We had a blast on Friday night, a terrific brunch on Saturday, and an adventure getting home in the snow. It was so great being together -- just the two of us!

Bonnie and Ann Marie, Sorry! I'll make you feel better. The forcast for Friday up here will be a high of -3 and an overnight low of -18. The wind chill will bring it down to around -30. Hope you feel better now. LOL
