Shirttail's had several signs posted that said...."upstairs dining closed for the summer"...kind of weird in February...they look like they are not doing well at all, just a few kids drinking at the bar - it looked forboding enough that we did not stay

I guess the location doesn't help Shirttail Charlies either. It is somewhat secluded and doesn't make people feel secure sometimes. We haven't been there in the last few years but I had included it on the list when I made it several years ago. One of their big draws was they offered a short boat cruise around the river letting guests get a feel for what the homes are like. I guess it is time to update my list as I share it with so many who like Fort Lauderdale.
