Flight from LAX to abilene, texas

Flight from LAX to abilene, texas

I am looking for a flight and I an finding very high prices. I want to go within the next two months, dates are flexible. The lowest I found was 379.00.
Plese help?

I did a search and got similar results. Are you open to the idea of flying to another city such as DFW or Lubbock, then drive to Abilene? The best deals are from LAX to DFW, but traffic might be easier to navigate from Lubbock. Unfortunately the cost savings of flying into Lubbock is only ~$150.

CORRECTION: I meant to say the savings from Lubbock is ~$50. Sorry.

Have you considered going from LAX to Love Field in Dallas on Southwest and then driving to Abilene? The fare for that route all thorugh April (and some in March) is $108 each way for a total of $218 RT. The drive to Abilene is straight on I-20 and ranges from 3 - 3.5 hours depending on traffic.
