Pink Jeep/Broken Arrow- Hike or Ride?

Hi! My family and I are taking a trip to Arizona this summer and we have heard GREAT thing about the Pink Jeep Tours. Many people seem to like the Broken Arrow trail- although it seems 1/2 and 1/2 whether to hike it or take the actual jeeps. We would be able to hike it, but taking the jeeps is also an option.... So here's the question-

Should we hike it or use the jeeps?

THANKS!

We are lazy, so we took the jeep tour. Just kidding, but it depends how much time, money and stamina you have. For hiking in the summer, you will have to set out very early in the morning to beat the heat.

Good luck,

We went to Sedona in January and took the Pink Jeep Broken Arrow tour and just loved it-the tour was the best part of our trip to Sedona. You will love it.

Scary? Not with the driver we had. He drove cautiously with an emphasis on identifying various flora and fauna (mostly birds). It could be a ride to remember for your 8yo. I just wouldn't recommend it for anyone with back problems altho I got to ride in the front passenger seat. For people not used to climbing in and out of an SUV, that might be the most difficult part.

Take the pink jeep tour. Hike somewhere in the am when its cooler and take the tour in the pm. Its not at all scary but was a rush for our kids. And us Ask your guide to point out where several car commercials have been made.

Does Pink Jeep have a lower age limit.

I hike it and it was a very scenic hike. Nothing difficult and I went in early June in the middle of the day.

Sedona is at about 6,000 (or is it 4,500 ft) ft I think so it wasn't very hot.

I saw a couple of Pink Jeeps during my hike. The driver was giving them a scarier ride than my hike which wasn't. They were yelling but seemed to enjoy it.

The hike took a couple of hours.

The choice is, do you want to hike? Cost maybe for a family? Probably a bit longer if you hike but you don't wait for anybody.

Your choice.

We took two 5 year olds and a 6 year old and they all had a blast. Thought it was the most fun ever. I really enjoyed it as well. A memorable trip.
